Mentor-Protégé Program

The Mentor-Protégé program was established by Congress to provide incentives for major Dept of Defense contractors (Mentors) to help small and disadvantaged business (Protégés) successfully compete for prime contract and subcontract awards.

Boecore is proud to have been one of the select few companies chosen by Northrop Grumman to be a Protégé. More specifically we are proud of our employees for helping build the reputation necessary to create such opportunities for Boecore.

Boecore is the proud recipient of the 2008 Nunn-Perry Award for outstanding accomplishments. The prestigious Nunn-Perry Award, named in honor of former Senator Sam Nunn and former Secretary of Defense William Perry, was first awarded in 1995 to recognize outstanding Mentor-Protégé teams formed under the the auspices of the DoD Mentor-Protégé program.
